The resort is situated on the sunny Costa del Silencio, on the south coast of Tenerife, the largest island in the Canaries. It is easily accessible, the nearest airport, Tenerife South (Reina Sofia), being only eleven kilometres away.

The Club is set in attractive, landscaped grounds and has a large pool area, complete with a children's pool, kiddies play area and terraces for sunbathing. In the vicinity of the club there are bars, restaurants and a supermarket. In addition, staff at the Tenerife Sun Club Reception, are on hand to advise on sightseeing and arrange excursions and car hire.

PLEASE NOTE : No restaurant or bar facilities are available at poolside, drinks are available from vending machines and there are various places at the front of the complex for eating and drinking.

The nearest (pebble) beach is in Las Galletas about 1.5 kilometres away. The surrounding area (Tenbel) has many bars, restaurants and shops. The nearest bus-stop for regular buses serving Los Cristianos, Playa de las Americas and other parts of the Island, is about 5 minutes walk from the resort. Playa de las Americas and the adjoining town of Los Cristianos, with their beaches, nightlife and shops are some 15 kilometres from the resort. Taxis to Playa del las Americas or Los Cristianos, cost in the region of 15 to 20 Euros. Fishing, golf, horseback riding, Gym facilities, scuba diving, watersports, and a Casino are accessible from Tenerife Sun Club.

Airport

Tenerife South (Reina Sofia) is the nearest airport, eleven kilometers from Costa del Silencio (approximately seven miles).

Taxi

Ask for Parque Don José. The fare should be in the region of €20.00 to €25.00

Car Hire (Amended 07 March 08, due to road works)

From the airport, follow TF1 motorway sign for Los Cristianos. Take the first exit off the motorway. Follow the signs for Los Abrigos, Las Galletas, not San Miguel. Turn right at the roundabout and right at the next one. Follow signs for TF655 (Guargacho/Las Galletas). Follow the road for approximately 2 kilometres. Turn left at the sign for Las Galletas (TF652). Approximately 3 kilometres down this road, you will pass through Guargacho and see a sign on your left for Costa del Silencio, ignore this sign and continue on the main road for approximately 5 kilometres until you see the Shell Station on your left. Take your second turning on the left next to Tenbel Tower and continue up this road for approximately 300 metres to a junction. Continue over the junction and take the first turning left signposted Calle Hercules. The Reception in 250 metres along on the right next to the bar Tenerife Sun.

Services at the Tenerife Office Reception

Reception Opening Hours

Check-in Procedure - Check-in time is 1700 hours

When you arrive at the resort, please go to the Club's Reception, where you will be welcomed by the staff and given the key to your apartment.

If we are advised of your arrival time, our on-site staff will make every effort to have your unit ready for your occupancy.

Safety Deposit Boxes and Apartment Security

We strongly recommend that you hire a key when arriving at the resort and also recommend that, whenever you leave your apartment unattended, all valuables are placed in the safe. The cost of hiring a safety deposit key from Reception is Euros 10.00 per week.

Flight Confirmations / Taxi Bookings

One or two days before returning home, please visit Reception with your flight tickets and ask the staff to confirm your homeward flight, they will also be happy to book a taxi for you. No charge is made for this service.

Check out Procedure - Check out time is 1000 hours

On the morning of your departure we ask that you vacate your apartment by 1000 and return your keys to Reception. The staff will then have sufficient time to prepare the apartment for the next guests.

You are free to leave your luggage in Reception, which is open from 0900 until 2100 on Tuesdays and Fridays. There are toilet facilities in Reception for your convenience. If you have a late departure, please check the availability of a courtesy apartment.

Tenerife Sub Club Apartments

The Club comprises of 45 units. Studios H153 and H156 sleep two on a sofa bed; studios D6 and D17 sleep 4 with twin beds and a double sofa bed. One bedroom apartments can all accommodate a maximum of 4 persons with twin beds or double bed and a sofa bed. Units N361, N362 and N347 are classed a 1.5 beds, and sleep 6 with twin beds, bunk beds and a sofa bed. Apartments with 2 bedrooms can accommodate up to six people.

All apartments possess a fully equipped kitchenette, all of which have been recently refurbished to high standard. All units have ceiling fans, clock, radios and hairdryers. Should you wish to request a cot and/or a highchair (free of charge) or extra pillows or blankets for your stay, please contact our reservation staff in the Isle of Man Office. Apartments are cleaned and linen changed every two/three days.
